Tour Itinerary : 
Day One Saturday 3 Sept
We will leave Leybourne at 08:00
Our night stop will be at Carlisle
Day Two Sunday 4 Sept
We leave Carlisle at 08:30 hrs
We continue up to Luss Museum and café on the side of Loch Lomond, then
heading northwards and out to Inveraray Castle for a tour around, and ending our day at the Calendonian hotel, Oban
Day Three Monday 5 Sept
We start at 08:30 hrs from Oban to Fort William to travel on the Jacobite Train, which is used as Harry Potter’s train, travelling along enjoying one of the world’s most beautiful views. We arrive at Mallaig to cross to the Isle of Skye at Armadale. Here we stop at the Museum of History of Skye, the gardens ( weather permitting ) and the café. We head up to the Skye Bridge and Kyleakin, and the hotel, The King's Arms, for our two-night stay
Day Four Tuesday 6 Sept
We have the entire day to explore Skye, and to look and learn more about it, and its history
Day Five Wednesday 7 Sept
This morning we make our way to Ulig, and cross at 14.00 hrs to the Isle of Harris, arriving at 15.40 hrs. The Harris Tweed Centre is a must for us, and we shall stay at the Caladh Hotel, Stornaway, on Lewis
Day Six Thursday 8 Sept
We leave Stornaway and have a look at the Calanais Stones of Lewis, although we shall not have too much time before catching the ferry back to the mainland, where we shall stay at The Caledonian Hotel, Ullapool
Day Seven Friday 9 Sept. 
From Ullapool, travel up to Durness for lunch - Durness being the most north-westerly point in Scotland that one can go. We than travel across the most northerly road in Scotland to Thurso. From here, we have dinner on the ferry to Orkney, where our hotel will be The Stromness
Day Eight Saturday 10 Sept
We have all day to look at the sights of Orkney with our Guide
Day Nine Sunday 11 Sept.
We must start very early to catch the Sunday Ferry for Stromness, and sail back to Scrabster. We visit the Queen Mother’s home, The Castle of Mey, and continue our journey southwards, visiting the Tain Pottery on our way back to Inverness, where we stay for two nights at the Craigmonie Hotel.
Day Ten Monday 12 Sept
We start with a walking tour of Inverness, visiting a specialist kilt.maker. We shall take our coach to Culloden Field, where Bonnie Prince Charlie was defeated in 1746, and to Fort George, which is still used by the army today. We shall also visit Urquart Castle, on the side of Loch Ness
Day Eleven Tuesday 13 Sept
We leave Inverness, and travel the length of Loch Ness, down to Fort Augustus. We shall see Neptune’s Staircase on the Caledonian Canal, where boats are lowered out on to Loch Linnhe. We travel on to Spean Bridge and Fort William, then to Glencoe Visitor Centre. From there, we make our way to the Hydro Hotel at Crieff
Day Twelve Wednesday 14 Sept 
This morning we go on a special tour (the distillery) After leaving there, we go to Pitlochry, Blair Castle, we pass the Mickelour Hedge, and visit Glamis castle. The day is ended at the Hilton Hotel, Dundee
Day Thirteen Thursday 15 Sept
From Dundee, we pass the famous Golf Course there, and visit St. Andrew’s Cathedral. We then head to Stirling, and see the Castle, and we stay at the Holiday Inn, in Edinburgh
Day Fourteen Friday 16 Sept
Today we start with another mystery tour of Edinburgh (Royal Yacht Britannia), with lunch somewhere along Princes Street! After lunch we have a guided tour round Edinburgh Castle
Day Fifteen Saturday 17 Sept
Homeward bound! We travel south to Gretna Green, and see the anvil where weddings used to be performed, and say Goodbye to our Guide. Our night’s stop is at The Swallow Hotel, at Preston
Day Sixteen Sunday 18 Sept
We leave Preston and should be back home, in the Maidstone area, by about 16.00 hrs
